Backtagging: Forever and a day. My memory is like a colander, so if I seem to have dropped something, give me a nudge.
Threadhopping: Ask first, but I'm generally good with it.
Fourthwalling: Tony's likely to assume that they're talking about the licensed in-universe Avengers comics unless they're exceptionally obvious.
Offensive subjects: Non-con is a big no-no for me, as is taking pleasure in torture. Otherwise, I'm pretty difficult to offend.

Hugging this character: Go ahead. Tony may be surprised and awkward, but there's a reasonable chance of return hugs. (He's actually pretty tactile, but Trust Issues and not being sure if people want to be touched.)
Kissing this character: Sure, but while Tony is an exceptional kisser, he's technically in a steady relationship with his Pepper.
Flirting with this character: Oh yeah. Heavy-handed flirting is one of Tony's default modes.
Sex with this character: Unlikely but possible, see above monogamous relationship with Pepper. There would have to be a good reason for it. Or if we're memeing, I tend to play Tony as single in all AUs.
Relationships with this character: Friendships/mentorships/surrogate-family are all cool, but he's not likely to go romantic with anyone. Again, meme exception.
Fighting with this character: I will gleefully toss Tony into fights, both verbal and physical.
Injuring this character: Ask me first, but I've got no objections to most things short of permanent maiming. (Maiming will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.)
Killing this character: ASK ME FIRST.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Go ahead! However, be warned: whoever does it will get the equivalent of two TVs, three radios and a Computer Aided Design program running pretty much constantly. That's just what being in Tony's head is like.
Warnings: None I can think of right now. Tony isn't hugely observant about human personal interaction, and is more likely to apologize/make overtures by making stuff for people than he is to talk about Feelings.
